Any RTR races in Michigan?

For electric RTRs its MMEU (http://mmeu.com/events.htm) we run at Ford Field Park in Shelby Mi. ( UL1, SV27, Blackjack) etc

For nitro/gas its Metro Marine Modelers same location every Tues afternoon/eve (Miss Vegas etc)

Where are you at in Michigan? We've had talks in our club about holding regular RTR races, possibly bi-weekly with a points series.

I am in Alpena.I have the first gen pro boats Miss Bud.Can i run a different engine for this class or does it have to be box stock?Thanks

Unfortunately you have to run the engine that was supplied with the boat to remain in the RTR class. I don't know if any clubs towards your side of the state are running RTR classes.
