Advice on carbon fiber needed

I need some info on carbon fiber, but I am haveing trouble finding anything useful.

Can someone please point me to some good URLs where I can find hard facts with numbers, diagrams and stuff?

Or atleast somewhere to start?

Also if you know any good literature on the subject?

I'm interested in strength, heat resistance, etc.

It's for a scientific report the lady is working on, so I need "real" references if you understand wha I mean

Can't exactly put "extreme boater guy on intlwaters" in the references
