Hello,

Can someone give me some back ground on the ABC H6 Prop. On Jim's website, there isn't any numbers for diameter or pitch. Is it similar to the H5?

Thanks

Mike

The H-6 has a back-cut out of the bag. The H-5 has always worked better for me than the H-6. Thats just been my observation, with my hydros. Richard D

Mike,

Here are the numbers right out of the bag:

Trailing edge cup at .7 radi 3.00"

Center of Blade Pitch 2.70"

Diameter is 45.98 mm

Hub is 3/16"

It does have a 1 mm backcut in the trailing edge stock

Charles,

It is not enough propeller, you may want to try a H-16 or H-18.

You will need a 1452,1455 or x-450, x-452 reduced for a good running

Sport 40.

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund

I have the 1455 you made for me that runs great, just was doing the math and it seemed close to the 450 prop, has anyone been successful with the h-16 or h-18 ?

Charles,

The H-16 may not even be available still, I can check.

The H-18 is very close to a 1455/1457 reduced diameter.

The H-6's have a few mm backcut and are only 46mm in

diameter, just a little short for a good Sport 40.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Hey, Buddy Lowe i looked at the numbers on that one but never pulled the trigger on getting one to try out. I hope all is well in BAMA. The sport 40 crowd is getting tougher this year with Tracy coming back with a Blazer hull running hard and fast and Beasley giving me a hard time as well..... You gotta repaint yours with the " ROLL TIDE" logo .

Charles,

If your motor can pull a 1914 try a 1916, we just tested a few and found 5 MPH

difference between the two propellers.

Have Fun Testing,

Mark
