O.K., this is the new ABC 2817/2 17* .45 BAR prop. I got in a few of these a while ago and did not say anything about them. They were for testing. Well the props are a great prop. From what Jim @ ABC says is they are a prop he has been working on with the builder of Road Runner riggers. Getting the perfect rigger prop. You can see some shots I took of it next to a 2817/2 19* .38 prop. See the larger tongue to the drive dog end of the hub. Right between the .38 and .50 props.
This series had been made for a while and is a popular series of props. But in the size and pitch run it stopped at 2615/2 17* .45. To small for any gas boat. When ABC did this larger prop it was done for a gas or X-Hydro rigger. It is just this one size. Like I said the closest one is the small 2615. I started getting these last April and since then I have sold over fifty of them on Jims RC Boat Dock. And there has been a lot of good feed back on them. They also run very good on a sport hydro. I know a lot of guys here do not go to Jim's web site and know this prop is even made. It is not in the prop chart. Right now I do have plenty of them in stock. The finished prop is $50.00. The USA shipping is $5.00.
