It was like that when I got it. I didn't build the boat. I just did the paint

from what I just read for NAMBA 21-c it falls under the rule if I read it correctly

Hey Guppy, I think the big issue selling it as scale, is that it looks to be a Dumas kit, and the sponsons do not measure up correctly to run as a scale boat under NAMBA specs. It lacks the "Jones sponsons" needed to qualify as scale.

The Jones sponsons were not changed on that hull (MHR #8401) until 1991. The Lucero style sponsons are correct for the 1984 Atlas but the enclosed stuffing tube is an issue and not legal. That in itself is an easy fix however.

Oh your'e right. I was thinking of the Circus Circus...sorry about that.
