Hello All
I designed my radio box yesterday in AutoCAD and cut the parts on my CNC router
and put it together yesterday, last night and today.
I love designing stuff that hopefully comes out alright and works good.
I used 1/8" thick poplor grade plywood for lightness, and used Zap 2 part
epoxy to coat it.
It weighs 2 oz more than the fiberglass box that comes with it, but has
more room for taping the hatch down than the stock box.
I tryed to keep everything as low as I could, like the 5 cell 1400 ma battery
pack.
I used the Hitec 755MG 1/4 Scale servo for steering, Hitec 85MG for throttle
and fuel mixture.
I went with the "Body Clip" way of mounting the cowl "from my R/C 1/8 Scale Buggy Days"
It is a simple 1 Clip mounting system and is quick and easy.
I love Building stuff....
