45 roadrunner setup

I found an article at rcboat.com on roadrunner setup. Everything is clear except the rear sponsons.It says raise the rear sponsons up as far as they will go and place a piece of 1\8 stock under the sponsons. Bring the rear sponsons down until they contact the 1\8 stock and secure with 8\32 bolt. If it adjusts at the front and the back and you drop the back to the 1\8. Do you leave the front all the way up or do you bring it down too? If so how much? Hope someone can clairify. Thanks. Troy.

There should be about a 1.6 degree AOA on the rear sponson bottoms. when you're done. That is a 1/16" rise at 2 1/4" forward of the touch point on the setup table.
