I am liking the way that my Vision is working for me.

If you like to build. I also think a NS295 would also be a good hull. Whish I had time to build my son's and have him test it this year yet. But I have way to many projects going on right now.

Prop question,

Is anybody running a 1440, cupped and cut from back a few?

Just wondering,

Anderson, AB, Sholund, All had versions of it...

Gene I like a 40x53 with a bit of cut back on it on my vs1/OS.

Off the top of my head I think Tim Duggan is still playing with the 1440s... His boat is very quick!

Thanks Bryan.

I didn't like the 1440's habits much for heat racing. It's fast, but heat times weren't there for me.

GR 40x53 in various modified forms are what I like on the OS. Nice prop and can get the OS in that sweet spot.

Hey Bryan and Tim,

Yea the 1440 on a lite rigged hull was different, throttle on/off drama,

But when it hooked up, Went like stink!

Gene ;)

I gotta look up my old prop notes and see just what I used to run,

Seems like there was a X640 heavy mods too....

The X437/3 that I have and a 40x53 should do fer starts.

Gener,

You'll quickly realise the OS is very different in terms of prop and set-up to the K&B's you used to run. I guess it comes down to what you want to do. If you want to heat race it, it will more than likely require a different approach to just going fast in a straight line.

Given your motor is far from the normal OS and Gabe gave you the gun prop for that engine, I'd say work with that to form a baseline. Then work on stuff like your pin inclination and CG to get the boat balanced and cornering nicely.

Hey Timbo,

Yea variations on the theme, Learning curve fer sure!

Same hull yet K-B 3.5, Nova/K-B foot, CMB/Lawless, and now OSXM

I got cha Mate :D

Thanks,

Back ta make'n sawdust.....

Lata,

Gene ;)
