Mike,,, not sure what boat your running,, but Brett English had a RoadRunner, with a Nova in it. He ran a 1445 3.2 or 3.4 pitch,,, and the thing was a rocket..

Mike, stock Nova?

1450 @ 46.5 mm 3.25-3.75 cup seems to be pretty popular.

Mikey, I think I was running an H7 by Sholund @ 3.75. Also ran a 1445 at 3.6 and 3.3. JAE with a nova 5 port and S-pipe. I run at 2200' elevation though with 65% and all stock.

Mike,

We liked a H-7 @3.21" of cup at 46mm and a short pipe length.

3.33" to 3.46" maximum on the cup and 46mm is right on. Another

Option would be an H-6 @ 3.46" to 3.60" of cup. We have been

Increasing the center of blade pitch for more performance without

Adding any cup to the trailing edge at all.

Have Fun Testing,

Mikey,

Try an ABC 50x69 with 3.4- 3.6 cup stock diameter. 1450 @ 46mm with 3.4 cup. Or, if you have a strong engine and the ease of launch with the JAE give a 1650 @46mm with stock pitch. I have all these props here if you would like to try them. Let me know if I can help out.

Later, Ron

Well I would have Mark cut you down a H10, Remove the entry (suction side) and back cut the trailing edge as needed. OPS 3280 at 3 1/4

Jeff,

Just add more blade camber to the H-7 and you will be good to GO!

If you add the camber between .5 and .7 radii in the middle of the blade

You will notice a big difference in performance.

Greg,

Needs more?

More camber in the middle of the blade.

3.8" of cup is not helping you at all, it is killing your RPM.

You can go over 80+ MPH with only 3.46" to 3.60" of cup.

The center of blade pitch or adding more camber into the blade

will help the boat accelerate better and be more responsive for heat racing.

Honestly, just trying to help you learn more about propellers. :)
