To my fellow racers,
I had just posted this question to a few directly, also posted on several boards. I would like to hear from the masses.
Richard Konnen here of REK. After 5 plus years it is time for a new version of lower unit. So I am cutting new molds and would appreciate some feed back...
Just wanted to see if there would be an interest in my lower unit made out of a different composite material. My material supplier found some stuff in Denmark that would work for me. It is 23% lighter than what I am using now and the stiffness and strength go up dramatically. Here is the rub...
OK. I got back the info I needed to present this to you guys and gals. As many have known, my goal with the lower unit I manufacture was to eventually have a complete engine. At this time what I am looking for is more or less just a verbal commitment on those interested purchasing an engine. The...
I drew up a micro rigger. It is in PDF format, when you print, set print settings to page scaling none and check box for paper source from PDF. I printed this right on some material from SIG called Rhino Hide. You could probably try 1/64 ply also. I cut a blank at 8.5 X 14 then printed it and...

Thanks,
Richard
