Too high of a prop on a Mod-vp starts to cause problems because of the center sponson it tends to run closer to a mono set-up... other wise it blows out.... makes alot of noise but doesn't go anywhere.... tried many props but always go back to a three blade...

There were no Mod-vps run at the brandon race... there's a storm race coming up..

I love the little 20 boats.. its a lot of fun..people racing are way more light hearted... but I have people riding me hard for the 1/4 scale boats.. in all honesty they are easier to build..... not cheaper you guys out there <_< ... the 20 mod-vp hull I build is a hard lay-up.. too many sharp...

They raced it at the riverview club race,but.... It was windy nasty conditions 4 boats in the heat...most 20 boat guys didn't show... Slow start but there are more races to come.. I'm making some head way with my 1/4 scale Mod-vp.. going to race it in gas outboard and have an inboard set-up for...

the inspiration comes from STV... I grew up racing them with my dad... 110-120mph with a merc 2.5... times are hard so I do them mini.... this district 3 Mod-Vp class mark poole is responsible for is a great fun class..

grim racer 40 X 52 3blade....... I build the hulls to race in the mod-vp class.. you have to set them a bit in the curves.. kinda whats to slide around on the center sponson.. I've reduced that problem on the newer designs.. Its a neat class to watch,... I have scale Mercury cowls I'm working on...

Its stock other than the head clearance has been worked a bit. The stock motor would not run on 60% nitro.... Don't listen to mike.... he's scared :o

I have a 3.5 stock crank... The gold is prob. cut... but its yours if you need it..... you gotta stop leaning that motor to get as fast as me though ;) Seriously the bearings and all are in good shape... Let me know... I'm head'in towards the UPS in the morning..
