Hey Kesso I think the term is 'as well as can be expected'. Imagine a one armed bloke who happens to have one partially operable leg, and we're getting close. The leg is fine, actually, but the arm is no good at all really. I am going to attempt running a boat or two once I try out the...

Sounds good, Dave! I would love to see that, (and a race of all the possible contenders)! I may be only a few months away from dipping a hull or two in the water! Maybe a new car too so I can come and see you guys running. I have a few ideas to run boats first, but I remain ever hopeful.

It would be hard, but a facsimile of a tunnel, on top of a suitable stand. The stand would take the the winners name and year. Since the trophy will be awarded the first time this year perhaps the tunnel can be of one of the contenders?

    Shipping parts to AU??

7 to 10 days from the US is pretty normal depending on the time of year for small parcels up to 1 kg. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, it takes up to 21 days on the same postal service level from the same supplier. Larger parcels take longer generally. I suspect that there are random parcel...

Lipo pack question for an FE novice

Agreed... Now that I've got pretty good handling, need more speed!

Lipo pack question for an FE novice

Answer/ comment from Canberra, some would say not a real part of Australia! I don't check the pack voltage after races, but I typically have to recharge 3100 to 3200 mAh. One of these days when I get some local water to run on again, I'm going to work out what prop I can pull and use the rest...

    World Outboard Champs

It was a great day's racing for all of us. The rain "dampened" things a bit, but we got really great water conditions as a result :) I'd love to see a tunnels-only event on the Australian racing calendar. I'd certainly be there and be prepared to roll up sleeves to make it happen. I'm...

    World Outboard Champs

Only a "possible" shower, but 10 - 20 mm, and 23 degrees. Anything with boats beats 40 kmh winds and 13 degrees which is what we've had here lately. Looking forward to running all my tunnels. It's nice not to have to choose between stock and mod 3.5 :-)
