The two holes on the cowl located aft starboard were NOT mirrored on the other (port) side of the cowl. These two holes were access holes for the nitrous bottles.
You will also notice 8 additional holes located farther aft on the top of the cowl. 4 mirrored holes starboard and port...
The small white "fins" on top of the canopy & cowl are antenna for the driver to communicate to the guys in the pits.... for the big boat anyway. Since they were on the big boat, we put them on our scales as well.
