North Coast Pond Hoppers RC Race

Well, by popular demand, the NCPH Club is sponsoring their first sanctioned race ever. We will be hosting this race August 21-22, 2004 at Green Acres Lake Park Resort in Lake Milton, Ohio. The site is awesome with activities for the entire family. They have swimming (yes, a different pond)...

Insane gas sport hydro in IMPBA

AAAAAAA-gree....! As world wide as the hobby but as small as it is, there has to be something done to include what's available on the market. Not all, if any at all, can put together a hydro (or race boat in general) and expect to be somewhat competitive. I am one that believes a newbie needs...

    Builder Wanted

As much as I'd like to volunteer, time permitting is not possible. I have some wood working experience.... I have put together a couple gas hydros BTW.

Insane gas sport hydro in IMPBA

I've built a couple of woodies and have not added any type of rear pads to date. I believe that if you have to add rear shoes to a hydro, there's other issues anyhow and I'm not one that's going to worry about it. With that said, I too believe it's time to get some newbies into racing and allow...

    2004 IMPBA Gas Nationals

Has any issues been resolved? And, if there's anything we (the NCPH) can do, give us a yell and we'll get on it!

    Buoys

That's an awesome way to do it Tom, if you remove the buoys on a regular basis. We've been using 12 lobster buoys, cut in half, on a counter weight setup for many, many years. The buoys are set in April and come out in October. And to be honest, they are not that hard on boats.

Face Cut props that are B/S

Removing material from the concaved side is not something I would ever recommend. I am no prop guru BTW and from what I do know about props, you should not modify the concaved side other than lightly sanding the surface for additional grip if you'd like. Most, if not all the work should be done...

WTT: AB 21 parabolic pipe for AB 21 nitro pipe

Shot me an email so we can work out the details if you'd like. [email protected] I don't really need the header or mount. I figure we could swap out pipes only if that's kewl.

where to buy west systems epoxy?

Don't really know... it never stays around long enough for me to find out... 'Don't know if that's good or bad'

.....barely a gallon of fuel through it......

Only painted once = with 8 different colors No repairs = meaning the bondo never hit the floor when it was fixed Must sell = before the wife finds it Last chance offer = or not

    Nitro Pipes Making A Comeback?

I can vouge for Mike T. and his muffler work. I've running them for several years and they do the job on my gassers... His newer ones are nicer and quieter than the first designs with little to no performance loss. Guess I'll have to break down and get one for my 21 now....
