Since there have been no Blackbirds built with a conventional (non wrap around header) motor I'm the first to do this and there is plenty of room for this style motor. I will say that I am going to fit a set of billet engine rails from CMDi as they are the same height with 2" centers & pre-tapped for the CMB. I want to keep these rails from Chris as supplied since they are already drilled & tapped for a Nova Rossi should I decide to try one in this boat.
