Does anyone make a cowling to fit the whiplash/backlash that doesn't have the carb bubble on the side. Thinking about putting a rear exhaust motor in one and would like a more streamline cowling.

Zippkits has one for their JAE gas 'riggers that was made for RE engines but it might not look all that good on a Whip. It's made for 5" railed boats but it comes wider so it can be trimmed to size. I used a back-halfed T-Boat cowl for mine reversed but would still look a little funky on yours.

Buck I made a rear exhaust cowl for my gas rigger, that looks like a crapshooter cowl, but its flat and that whip has a lot of curve in it. You would need to cut the plate off and match it to the whip profile, would be a fair amount of work

Looks good Tony but don't think that will work for me. If I do go with the whiplash I'll just modify the normal cowling to fit I guess.
