I agree Mike. I nominate Tony! What a great idea to do this! I really appreciate all the work he is doing here. It will be awesome to be able to view all these results in one place and preserve some impba history.
That is a great idea!

It would be easier to keep track of now with all the great computer tech. I know there is tons of paper in boxes that had to be transported from one office to the next. I think Doug Smock has a lot of the materials from past record trials.

I don't even know how many records I've set. I never did keep much of that material.

On the other hand, Gary Pruesse, who probably has the longest activity span in IMPBA has a folder with certificates of every record he set. Probably dating back to the 1960's.

Once we get all the data in one place and good way to display it , maintaining it all will be easy. The old hard copy September Roostertails have been a great help, if you have any of those laying around from the missing years it would be a huge help: So far we have identified 258 US-1's from 1975 to 2012. With the following complete years

Mark that would be fantastic, that year is actually really thin on results

Great job getting this information together, Tony! It is much appreciated. Thanks to Juice and Lynne for getting it on the IMPBA website so quickly. It is important to know your past so you can figure out where you're going to go in the future...............

Great Job lynne and Chris - The input has definitely slowed down . Lets break this elephant down into chewable chunks and finish off the 1980's. Here are the missing years with our best resource likely to be the hard copy Roostertails.:

Here are a couple of ticklers for those years !!! (What a change in tastes in the 1980's)

You can put John Otto down for winning B Mono in 1989. I will always remember that he beat me by about 10 or 12 points that year. Just one of the 13 times that I finished second. The Godfather is still tough to beat!

Ok guys all the locations and special award recipiants have been updated in the IMPBA History section in the rule book. There are only a couple blanks. When Tony has gathered all his US-1 info, it will also be included. Here is a link.

Thanks for posting Chris!

I won the President's Cup in 1988. It's sitting here on my desk.
Thanks Andy. You will be added. Another blank filled.
