Hello Everyone,
Badgers first race of the 2024 season has been published on RC Racing Events.
Come on out and possibly win a Zenoah motor... Yes, in its original Zenoah box too!
Bring your Cracker Box for some extra fun!
Multiple boat/class and family discounts for everyone (see below).
GENERAL INFORMATION
IMPBA sanctioned event – Must show membership card at check-in.
8 laps of racing per round on our ¼ mile course for ALL classes!
Open water 12:00 noon till 5:00 PM Friday June 28th .
Currently, no lunch plans are available. Watch for announcements or bring your own.
Five rounds of racing for all classes with 5 or more boats, 4 rounds for all others.
Shootout format for classes with seven or more boats.
Thunderboat class will be 5 rounds then a finale of 12 laps for the top 6 finishers. Winner of the finale gets a NEW (IN THE BOX) Zenoah stock 260PUM Motor!
50/50 Raffle, winner must be present during drawing!
Three boat minimum to make a class. 2 boat minimum for Open Classes.
Custom 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for classes with 5 or more entries.
Custom 1st place medal for classes with 4 or less entries.
Camping allowed – no hook up.
Race check in 7:00-7:30 Saturday morning. Drivers meeting 8:15. Race starts 8:30 each day.
NEW FOR D4 THIS YEAR
GAS CRACKER BOX, Not a new class but there are nine boats that we know of, many or even all may show up to race so we are going to make this a little special for them! All Cracker Box’s will be eligible for a concourse award, (similar to what gas 1/8 scale does). Please, police yourself with IMPBA class rules!
For this race: A Badger member (thanks Bill) has volunteered to pay $5 (half) of your race fee- If you race an additional class- Cracker Box race is only $5!
REGISTRATION
Classes with insufficient entries will be either closed or moved to another class at the CD’s discretion.
All IMPBA Classes offered. If you do not see your class listed on RcRacingEvents.com, register it in the Open Class and then contact Dave or Mike, we will try to create classes to fit or keep you in Open.
$5 driver registration fee.
Multiple boat and youngster discount is available for everyone including families, First boat is $15.00. Each additional boat is $10. Children 15 years old and under accompanied by a parent are $7 per boat per class.
Family discount example: Father and his two son’s, each pays the $5 registration fee then one boat $15, all other boats $10 (unless of course they are in the youngster category).
NO PayPal, don’t mail checks in - Pay at the race, cash or check.

Badgers Pond is in Kenosha County at the intersection of I-94 and County HWY E in Somers, WI. Exit I-94 at HWY E and proceed east ¼ mile to the east frontage road. Then turn north on the frontage road, about 500 ft. to 11th Place. Online Registration at the deadline determines the race classes and awards.
Please, if possible try and register a week prior to deadline so more time is available for custom awards.
