RCGUY,
Measure from the transome forward. Your CG location is a component of the variables to get your hull running its best (strut depth, strut length, prop selection, etc...) I'd begin in the 30-32% area first. Once you feel comfortable that the hull isn't throwing any surprises your way in regards to handling and the general rutine of getting it launched, then you can start pushing the CG back, a bit at a time, to pick-up a little extra speed. The Wild Thing is flat from the transome forward, quite a ways, so the hull is pretty forgiving regarding CG placement.
