Started on it Christmas weekend I didn’t like the servo mounts hard to get them screwed in so I went with my standard servo cross mounts I always make.Using a oiler so I modified the stuffing tube mount.I hate gas bags so I used the Sullivan vee hull tank with removable cross brace.On the scratch built slingshot Adam bought a zipkitts cowl we were going to cut for cmb then he found the Ellison cowl so the cowl was left over.I like the cowl to fit inside of tub so I didn’t use the skin piece at front of nose I epoxied the cut out in slotted the former for a tongue to fit in.I also sanded the transom back a 1/32 and capped it off with 1/32 plywood.Let me know what you think about the zipkitts cowling.I used 2 oz fiberglass in the the tub for for tank area and engine bay.

Painted this weekend the cowl had lots of dust so I wet sanded it and cleared it turned a lot real nice.Mounted all the hardware took some pictures realized I forgot the turn fin.The holes for pushrods worked well with my cross brace servo mounts.

Nice job Bruce, they look great!

Just need some cowl air supply cutouts for your boats. I made large cutouts with black screen installed over them from inside. Highly functional and looks awesome.

There’s enough have the hole for plug and there’s a hole in the rear plus pipe cut out

Based on past experience with mine I'm not so sure that would be enough airflow to get rid of the excess heat and supply enough air for the carburetor IMHO. Those are good size holes but hard to say what the airflow pattern around them will be at speed. Last thing you want is super heated air going into the engine.
Just my $.02, I guess there is one way to find out...

There’s three holes 1 3/4inch in diameter the one for plug one in rear used 1 1/2 drum sander to cut the exhaust cut out I’m good my scratch built rigger has the same cowl and holes runs fine no issues with what your saying
