I hear from a number of good boaters that if a rigger hops then you should lower your rear sponsons. I thought a rigger hops because the prop is climbing out of the water and I don't understand why lowering the rear sponsons will help. I'd like to hear some comments, Don ;)

Is there anyone out there that has one or two of the old style Octura flex hex couplers for 5mm threaded shaft to .130 cable. The new style has an elongated shaft behind the 5mm nut and won't fit my engine compartments. Thanks in advance, Don ;)

I'd like to hear some input on how deep the prop should set in the water at speed on a well trimed out and set up rigger. I've always thought it should be maybe about 90% of the distance from the tip of one blade to the hub or lets just say maybe a 1/16" below the hub but that's just my guess...
