I have a oval master 21, and I am running a 12 turn double trinity motor on six cells. And this onto a x431 prop. The boat has a terrible cavitation problem, and on its own it can hardly get up on plane because the prop is sucking in so much air. Should I get a bigger prop? thanks matt

I have a quick question about sport 20 hydros. I just got a pay n pac for christmas, and I was wondering what the best material would be for sealing the hull. I hear that the west systems expoxy is good, would standard automotive paint also work? I was also unsure of where the cg on the boat...

I just got a .21 size pickle fork hydro. :D It needs some work, but everything seems to be in working order, and even has a little bit of fuel still in the tank. :o Its my first nitro boat, so I will definitely be back here asking questions. Merry Christmas Matt Battig

I guess I will. It seems like too much trouble to modify the reciever to work on 9.6 v.

I know that most receivers come with standard 6.0v battery packs. But I recently saw someone using a small Duracell 9.6v battery connected to their receiver. Does the amount of voltage getting to the receiver matter? Could I use a 9.6v battery instead of that hefty 6.0v pack?

I think Garry's route is the one I will take. As for the cooling coil, is it absolutely neccessary, if you are already cooling your brushes?

And I forgot to ask (this may seem like a stupid question but) which type of cooling is the most important. Brush cooling or just the cooling coil. I'm asking because I'm not quite sure how I would mount brush coolers on my motor. Matt

I'm not sure what type of prop I want yet, but the $2 X431 looks pretty good for the price. ;D I was also looking at the articles on the offshore electric website, and I was wondering was size tubing was used for the cooling coil? Is it the same as the tubing used on the brush coolers...

I guess I would want to buy an Octura x 430 or x 432. Do you keep props that small in stock? I ask because I didnt see them on the list. If so I might be interested in buying one. Matt
