Great call Don, you are on point. Had black eyed peas and greens, and in my family we always have seafood as the first meal so I cooked fish,shrimp,and lobster.

German/Polish here, so made up a batch of kiszona kapusta z kiełbasą (sauerkraut with Polish sausage.) Hamtramck is a short drive away so the good kiełbasą is readily available.
