It can be cut down but there must be at least an inch of pipe length left so I can fit a coupler.

It doesn't need the spring or orings.

How short is it cut and how much are you asking for it?

Dan - I just did two for Vince Baumann's new twin. I turned down the OD of the header so that it slides inside the neck of the pipe. Telescopes and keeps it from burning couplers. On my 90, I have it turned and I used a water cooled coupler like a gas pipe. No silicone coupler. Just two Viton O-rings. Works great.
