Good morning folks. I have been asked if I could make wider rudders for the big twin nitro riggers.

Is there anyone out there who would like rudders 1 3/8, 1 1/2, 1 5/8 anything up to 2 inches wide.

If there's enough interest I'll make 50 of them, but for 5 or 6 pieces, they would be way too expensive.

I refuse to use 6061 aluminum for rudders. I use only 7075.

Ever have an interest/ability in machining a thin titanium rudder?

I'd like to try a couple if so....

I can do it if I can get material and don't have to drill the cooling hole.

I have made rudders out of 7075 aluminum that were 1/8 inch at the trailing edge of the rudder.

I've tried insanes thin aluminum rudder, folded it after 1 lap

No water port necessary, just S/M match mount holes, let me know

Have you ever considered stainless steel? Almost as strong and WAY less money.

Stainless is about $6.00 per pound, titanium is $20.00 per pound IF you can find it in a scrap yard. Otherwise it's closer to $40.00 in small pieces.
