Whichway SS head?

The K&B 3.5 SS Head has dimples machined into the perimeter of the combustion volume, five centered toward one headbolt, and three 180 degrees away. Im thinking that these should be oriented in some way with the crankcase, eg. 3 dimples down toward the exhaust port, but I dont have a clue about what is correct. This is a rebuild/upgrade to an 8907, so no help from there.

Any suggestions, Gentlemen?

The 5 dimple side of the combustion chamber goes on the same side as the exhaust port on the 3.5ss engine.
