Hi,This looked like it had potential, did anyone ever run one? Are they still made?
Other than being an Outboard Power Head, what are the other differences between this version and a regular OS?Hi,This looked like it had potential, did anyone ever run one? Are they still made?
Yes they are still made and you can find them here : http://www.worldchampionproducts.com/en/414-marine
These engines are OS based and are supplied without the carburetor to keep the costs limited. Costs are important because we run small production batches and so price is always higher.
We have been selling these engines for several years now and have been running the engine myself for quite some time now. Never let me down.
I have had some requests for a water cooled version and I hope to make this engine available soon.
If you need more info, do not hesitate to ask.

It has a specific 7-port liner made for Outboard racing and a specific crankshaft and backplate which fits the OS leg.Other than being an Outboard Power Head, what are the other differences between this version and a regular OS?
Are the timings different or does it use a standard OS liner?
