Hey Fellas,

Got a friend that has a RR90 with a cmb 100 and I need to know what size to drill the outlet hole in the cooling jacket.

Zach,

Try 1/16". If you need more cooling for the warmer waters in FLA, then use 3/32". I have found out that I do not need any larger than those sizes. The CMB 90/100 have large cooling jackets and take a while to route through. I also use only the top portion of the water jacket and plug the bottom part.

I tap the outlet 8-32 or 10-32 and use a brass set screw. I have several set screws that are drilled out different sizes to allow me to alter the flow based on water temp. Works for me.
