Im in need of some photos of the U-3 Coopers Express that ran in Detroit as the "Roostertail" or that year also running as Vacatiovile. I know it also run with several other sponsers the year im looking for but i think it was around 96 with the red and silver paint on the hull. i had some on a web site but the site is no longer there now.

I Need Detail Of the Lettering And the rear transon and wing uprights if at all possible

You must be looking for the old Atlas hull that Cooper ran right? Not the T-5 clone? If you want pics of the new boat I have a few. Mostly of it on the water. Here are some of them https://www.intlwaters.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=42

Is there a data base (roster) on line where the hulls are listed? I don't know them by that type of number.

Harry,

This boat never ran as Vacationville. However, it ran as Mill Bay Casino on the left coast. Mill Bay was supposed to sponsor the new boat in '97, but backed out just prior to the start of the season.

I can get you pics of the transom as it is now. If there is anything else you need a pic of, let me know and I'll take some the next time I'm at the shop.

Adam,

No. This was never a former Atlas boat. The project started when Ed purchased the Light All Star II (former Budweiser, Thousand Trails, Prodelco). Evans was supposed to add an enclosed cockpit to it, but it was in such bad shape that they decided to scrap everything but the Jones sponsons that were put on during the Thousand Trails days. I have seen a photo of the hull sitting in a landfill. The 8803 was a potpouri of design influences from Karelson, Lucero, Jones and Evans' own ideas.

Harry, I found a video tape of the 96 season viewed it today and there are several shots of the boat as Master Tire in Evansville and Mill Bay in Tri cities and Seattle, and San Diego. Couple good views of the tail logos too. Ill get you a copy if you want one.

Was there a way to capture stills off of VHS? Anyone know how?

Hello Guys,

Does Newton have a plan for this boat? Also I would be interested in any detail shots, looks like I found my next project.

Paul.

Paul,

I've built several scale before but this one by far has been the hardest to build and the hardest to find the "correct" Photos GOOD LUCK And yes i believe Roger has the plans
