The other day I decided to go on a new quest...

I figured it'd be alot easier than it is. I am looking for some type of "accurate" plans of a "typical" Unlimited Hydroplane. Seems they are a treasure of somesort.

The reason I'm needing something fairly accurate is, that I am a paper modeler. I understand CAD, or I would be happy with just 3 view photos/ drawings.

I am one that just likes to design and build these models for the fun and challenge of it. If you have never seen what can be done with paper, here's a link, you may be surprised at what you see...

I have the hull as close as I can make it without being digitally accurate, but this is why I was needing to get them. If there is anyone interested in one of these models when I get them finished, I'll give you guys the file to print out on your printer and build... Can even be printed on photo paper... gives a really nice glossy finish..

Roger Newton sells plans for 1/8 scale boats. They are not that details. They do give you the basic shape and the paint sceme. The detailing is done by photos of the real boats. He can supply you with those also. His full set of plans are $35. Check out his site. He has quite a bit of the baots from over the years.
