Before the front came rolling in today. I was doing paperwork at the computer and this guy landed on the roof next door after checking over the pond out back.

I stopped the video too soon

, as it came back over that apartment at top speed into the wind- It was VERY cool.....


And the Eagle actually gave way, and the Osprey finished his hunt with a fish from the pond before the cold front rolled in and dumped a ton of rain........

Thanks Andy, Used to see a lot of bald eagles in the coast range of N. CA. Here in UT. they got some BIG golden eagles. Facinating to watch! Think I heard somewhere the Osprey is the fastest- 150 mph in a dive and can pull a 10G turn!

He for sure pulled some G's getting out of that Eagles way

The Osprey's are awesome to watch , but the Eagle was really neat. He must roost nearby, its the 2nd time I have seen him in the last month or so, and my daughter and wife got to see their first Eagle in the wild- It was cool

We saw some Swallow Tail Kites earlier this summer - they are very rare.
