THUNDER IN THE VALLEY (District 2 Double Points) & The Buckey 880 ****RACE CANCELLED FOR 2014****

The Performance Model Boat Club (IMPBA District 2) brings the racers a day or a weekend of racing. Every year we help the CMBC host their race the Buckeye 880. This year we will have open water Friday, July 18th, THUNDER IN THE VALLEY on Saturday July 19th, and BUCKEY 880 on Sunday July 20th. Race Saturday, Race Sunday, or race both. Heat Racing Saturday with awards. Sunday: Heat Racing and Awards.

Four entries to make a class with three rounds of heat racing, weather permitting. No Boat limit, with open water on Friday afternoon after site setup. Our lake is located inside a campground with service campsites to tent camping available. Entry to the park is required per day. Campers pay to camp and do not have to pay park entry costs. An IMPBA D-2 point’s series race with the drivers meeting starts at 8:00 and the first heat on the water at 8:30. All Classes per IMPBA rules: Except Open (N,G,FE), RTR’s, and the Famous Night Race.

That's too bad. I would make it a regular 2 day race next year.

We will hold on to the Buckeye trophy till next year.
