Just for everones info...

IMPBA Scale Unlimited rules, under "Registration Procedures", it lists the requirements to register a hull, which includes - giving the "Unlimited name, year RACED, and number". So, from this section of the Scale Unlimited rules we do get the fact that your chosen hull must have been RACED.

Just a little thought on legalities.... The above statement does imply that the boat must have raced, but if you were to submit a boat saying:

Unlimited name: Miss Bozo

Year raced: Never

Number U99.98

You have answered all the questions for registering a boat.... Does it say you cant register a boat without a valid year raced????
