I have a 21 outboard kneeler my question would stumble pads take the place of a turn fin like on tunnels hulls?
Not a tunnel guy,

But I'm going to say no, from what I understand stumble blocks to do, is to keep the front end of a tunnel from digging in, in the turns.

Without a turn fin on a hydro, there is nothing for the boat to "key on" to negotiate the turn.

A hydro without a fin at speed, when you turn the rudder, the boat will turn to the side and continue going almost straight in a "crab like" fashion.

You can get it to turn, but you will have to "feather" the throttle and have a REAL WIDE lake!!
