I have in the past always set up the strut so that the center of the prop is 1/16 to 1/8 in closer to the pan of the hull from the riding point of the front sponsons.I make sure the hull is level first and when I have the prop at the correct height tighten the prop suppots for this height.
I have been now told that the drive shaft should be a lot closer to the belly pan.
Can you experts give me your thoughts please.I am about to set up two scale hydros and want to get it right.
