scale question on strut & decales

hey guys,

I am building a phil thomas t-5 hull .

I would like some feedback on the strut depth and angle

( in general ) .

also ,were can i get decales for the 2002 miss elam plus ??.

Ebay has that exact decal set listed right now! That exact same hull is on its way to me, I can't wait! ;D Mike

Hey,

I just set one of these T5 boats up , the strut should be 1 3/8 deep to the centerline at the rear of the strut and at the rear of the transom.

At three inches from the rear of the hull set the shaft to 1 inch to the centerline from the bottom.

I found that if you cut the shaft slot from 10 to 15 inches from the rear it works ok

did you have the setup sheets with that boat?

On the decals be sure you get the 2001 Elam decals or it wont match this hull. I think Pacific grafics has them. Not sure Newton has the 2001 drawing for the Elam which you will need, unless you have very good photos.
