Jon the Leading edge of the rudder needs to be inline with the leading edge of the Prop Most hardware Kits speced for that boat are set up that way.. this keeps prop wash from blowing into your rudder blade and keeps Prop wash behind the rudder blade. So if you change one you need to look & consider moving the other.Especially if you plan to move the rudder futher away from the boat transom and not change the strut brackets. If turning & spins out is a Problem? try a small straight blade turn fin on the inside of the right side sponson. this keeps the boat attached to the lake in the corners and prevents spin out Or you can run a new strut blade with a very small skeg built onto it.
