RESIZING BORE ON A PROP

I would like to run all 1/4" cable drive in all my boats. Can I simply drill the bore in my 3/16 props to 1/4 and rebalance, or is it more technical than that ? Thanks.

It is much easier to get a 1/4" stub shaft that steps to 3/16".

Pretty hard drilling out hubs the material on props are very hard If anything you need a lathe I have some new and used stepped down shafts drop me a e mail if interested [email protected] thanks chris
