RC Unlimiteds , the oldest and largest scale club in the world, just completed their 33rd season with the running of the Gold Cup this past weekend in Chelan, Washington. Over 40 boats attended. The top twenty qualifiers raced for the Cup while the other boats competed for the Norm Evans Memorial. Bill Brandt won the race with his 1972 Notre Dame. To see the boats in action go to the "Official photographer" of RCU. www.cdenslow.smugmug.com

Lots of great hull shots plus some spectacular crashes. Enjoy

Roger, Blurb on top says 6 boats hit the rocks, what's up with that, all radio hits.   Ray
I only recall three boats hitting the rocks. One was a kicked up rudder that went thru the turn and didnt get shut down in time. The other two were radio failures.
