I was in Radio Shack about a month ago talking about RC, RC lights, etc...

What came up was dumping batteries. I am guilty like everyone else in throwing them into the landfills. The guy at Radio Shack said they would take batteries and recycle them. Well I went in today with over 100 sub-C batteries and they took them no questions asked.

Just some useful info, this will be my future trend for battery disposal.

Just about every town has a Radio Shack.

You'll find that a lot of Hobby Shops will do this for you also. Some have a display with the face of Richard Karn (Home Improvement, Family Feud) where you can drop them. Other battery shops should have the same type of service, the battery only stores like Battery Outlet.
