These are very well made high quality and hand made in the U.S.A. The I.D and O.D. are checked several times during the making of the bushings so they fit the stuffing tube and shaft beautifully every time.

These are the soldered collar type for 1/4" shafts and work well in struts and stingers.

what do you mean soldiered type.

The collars are silver soldered onto the end of the bushing to keep them from sliding up in the stuffing tube. You can have the soldered on collar or a flare type.

I make both and have plenty of both type's in stock.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner haven't checked the threads in a while.

The uses for flared vrs. collared are more preference than anything else. They are freely interchangeable in most every situation. As long as drivedog clearance and lubrication is maintained either the collar or flare on the bushing should holdup till the bushing has worn out.
