Prop of Choice for 45 OB

Hi Guy's,

I see lots of discussion on props for 21 OB but what are people using for their 45's? Can I have any prop preferences you want to share and what Nitro and motor you are using to push it.

You know me I'm a three blade fan. On my stock I'm pushing the Octura X-447 three blade prop and sometimes the Stainless 230.

On my mod Aerotech I have the SS 230 and 235's on it from time to time.

On my stock .45 and Prather Racing hull I ues the SS 235

Octura 1450 backcut and cupped or Andy Brown 1445 with either 3.3" or 3.6" pitch. 45% sig champion boat fuel with a K&B pro.

Let's see, I've tried an X447, an M447, a X448 and a X450/3. Usually the 447 and 448 work well on my tunnel. I've also tried the Prathers. The M447 is a modified prop from Octura with a lot of the tongue area removed. I also have an X646 that I might try. 50% nitro with 20% oil but I use that for all of my boats.

Out this way, the most popular prop for 7.5 tunnels is a reworked Octura 1450.
