Evening all,

I have a rigger I picked up a couple of years ago. I don't know which one it is but have been told it may be a Crapshooter. Not sure but in any case it's pretty well built. It runs on a piped Nova Rossi .12 engine. The problem I am having is that every time I put it in the water it just cavitates. Doesn't matter how much forward motion I give it when launching it just churns water and barely moves. If I am lucky I can get it turned around toward shore before shutting it down. I suspect the prop is over pitched but don't know. What would be a good 2 or 3 bladed prop for this setup. I'd like to get it running reliably and race it. Thanks for any information.

Hi Rick can you post some pic's, side view and rear view.

What info is on the prop hub, should be on the end of the nut side.

Rick,

Crapshooter Boats has never made a 12-Hydro that I know of.

A good place to start is a 1440 W/Lynx-Cut, or a Y-535. I have

both in stock and ready to ship if needed?

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Hopefully I will have attached a few photos to this reply but the prop is an Octura V937/3 and it is getting me nowhere at all. It simply came with the boat. Mark I will probably be in touch next week for several props. Thanks to all.

Make sure the drive shaft is tight at coupler an drive dog is tight on shaft.
