Pro- series pipe length

Hi, everyone. I just got the 3.5 pro- series Irwin quiet pipe and need to know the pipe length. Someone said to cut 1/4 " off the end and snug it up to the header. Does this sound right or is there a better set-up? Maybe this pipe is too new for anyone to know. P.S. This is a real good- looking pipe. Nice work Jim

I run my Irwin quiet pipe at the length it was supplied. It's on my CMB Green Head and works fine. I'd try it first before making any cuts.
