Gents,

I am in process of building a Roadrunner 60 rigger with the following set up:

  • CMB 67 HR
  • H-38 prop
  • AB parabolic pipe or CMB 60/80 pipe
  • 50% nitro
What is a good starting point for the tuned pipe (each choice)?

Thanks

Scott

11 "- 11- 1/2" to start should be fine , then work down from there . You will probably end up somewhere around 10 - 3/4 " .
Yup what he said.

Scott,

H-32 is easier to work with at 10.5" to 10.75" on the pipe length.

Stock cup at 4.74" for the H-32. How much cup on the H-38? Do you know the numbers?

A little more cup if you want to run a longer pipe length 11.00".

The only problem with the H-38 is that it has a little more blade area ratio than an H-32.

Pick your propeller and work it into your set up. Have fun testing !!!

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Mark I have 3H 38's and 1H 32 unfortunately I don't know the numbers for any of them but I'll give them a try thanks
H38s will run just fine on the Roadrunner, been there done that.

Yes, and the H-38 willl take more abuse than the H-32. The overall pitch is the same on both and in rough water conditions the H - 38 will stay hooked up better.
