Anyone know a good way to clean fuel tanks in a full scale?

My jet boat has two spun aluminum tanks, each about a foot in diameter and 5 feet long. They've had fuel sitting in them for several years and smell pretty rank. I can remove them completely from the boat without to much hassle, but don't know what to use to get the funk out with.

Any ideas?

Radiator cleaning products can work but go to the marine shop and look for Stabil a product used to keep gasoline stored for long periods without that mess.

I would probably drain as much as possible and just fill with fresh. If debris is a concern then get a good fule filter or just watch the one you have.

Thanks guys. All good ideas. I have a friend at a radiator shop...might give him a call.
