One of my closest racing buddies uses a 46 NR wrap around and it is awesome. I really don't know a lot about the 46DD. I have seen some that are running well, but don't run that class.I have a new 46DD in a new rigger Im building and just took delivery on a 21 raptor, glad to hear about the DD as that where i wanted to go with the 21 as well.
Yes,Rod's NR45 180 ex is in her prime. His driving makes the boat even FASTER.One of my closest racing buddies uses a 46 NR wrap around and it is awesome. I really don't know a lot about the 46DD. As far as the 180 ex versus the straight ex...I do not see an advantage in performance in heat racing condition's between the two. We run the NR 180 ex in our JAE and seem's to get the job done. Just need to work on my driving...I love them Offshore bouy's.
Thx for the comment's on my driving,I have bad day's like everybody else. It is a gamble sometimes...50/50 chance to be a Hero or a Zero. Not sure who you are trying to foolYes,Rod's NR45 180 ex is in her prime. Anyone that can beat Jerry C in a mono is an outstanding driver. I love to watch you give up the start and then pass someone being patient near the end of the race Cool deal....

Racing Jerry is a Chess match as soon as the clock start's...he keep's you in check no doubt. He is one of my best friends on the shore as a lot of people I have had the pleasure to meet, but once the clock start's "IT IS ON". That is what bring's dad and I back again, again, again. Like Mark Grannis say's at every driver's meeting..."The race is not won in the first turn, race clean side by side for 6 lap's/12 turn's makes for GREAT memories."
