Nope, nothing under the clamp. Need to look into smoothing up the exterior of the cast portion, will have to do it all by hand too, as I do not want to thin it out too much with out talking to Lynn and finding out how thick the casting walls are. Also need to find the right spot for a pressure tap.

I wonder what alloy he is using for the casting. It has been my experience that cast aluminum is too soft and will not resonate properly.

I'am a tool maker for a company that doe's die casting and like Bob said it has to be the right alloy.The alloy we use is 380 and this will give you a better finish and will be the right alloy for this pipe.
