Yes they do Doug helped me get my FE mono handling better informed me I need lots more weight to hold it on the water it only weighed in at 7 pounds and he said it needs to be about 8 pounds first time running model boats for over 20 years that I had to add the much weight to hold the boat down. Doug said he has even had his up to 10 pounds for certain conditions. We clocked my boat today at 51 MPH not bad for a P mono.
