Motor City Model Boat Club

Due to no support from Ford Motor Company for several years. The members of the FMBC decided to officially change our name to the Motor City Model Boat Club at our January meeting. The Club will host a IMPBA District 2 race on June 25th 2011 at the Ash Township pond near Carleton Michigan running both nitro and gas classes. Flier to follow.

About the only thing Ford had been doing was allowing us access to Ford owned site to run boats at. Due to cut backs that gate was closed on us permanently about 4 years ago.
